2/20 Rotary Roundup

We celebrated Valentine’s Day with roses for the ladies and some straight talk debunking myths about marriage from Mary McKenna, Marriage Family therapist.  Good job all you Rotarians who brought your spouse and thanks Tim Baldwin for arranging this enlightening program.

This Club has so many reasons to be proud of its contributions.  Based on the last District Report, while we are 1 of 58 clubs in District 5230, we have  ontributed 1 out of every 4 dollars to the Foundation this Rotary year, and over the last 5 years, 1 out of every 8 dollars in our campaign to eradicate  polio.  Thank you, and congratulations to all our Paul Harris Fellows.

Thanks to everyone who helped at La Plaza Rotario community outreach day Saturday, the 11^th.  If you want to learn more about the project, join us at the public meeting on February 27^th at St. Mary’s Church (adjacent to Closter Park) from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.  We also have La Plaza Rotario meetings the first and third Thursdays at the Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce Board Room from 12:00 to 1:00, with the next one on March 1st.

For this club, Rotary begins on Tuesday. . .BUT IT DOES NOT END THERE!
