Closter Park

Looking to make a difference in our local community, the Rotary Club of Salinas, in collaboration with the Alisal, Corral de Tierra, Salinas Northeast and Steinbeck Rotary Clubs, will make improvements to Closter Park.  Located in Salinas’ Alisal neighborhood, the park is a focal point for families and a gathering place for the community.  With the goal of creating a safe and inviting place for families, the renovations will include a new, traditional Mexican-style kiosko, the La Plaza Rotario is the centerpiece of the park renovations.  The renovations will also include new seating areas, landscape enhancements and additional lighting.

This project is funded from charitable contributions made to Rotary through fund-raising events and gifts to support the project.
