Pigs, Pinot & More 2015
The night was EPIC, and we raised over $47,000 to aid in fulfilling our mission of making an impact in our community, with a focused commitment to Downtown Salinas. This month, we’re distributing $3,745 to Downtown non-profit organizations: Police Activities League, Salinas YMCA, National Steinbeck Center and Oldtown Salinas Association Foundation. Thank you to everyone who attended, with special thanks to our sponsors.
The Salinas Rotary Club engages in numerous local community projects and supports youth services at Salinas High School and Mt Toro High School. Check out our Services page for more information.
Most every month, you have a chance to volunteer your time and energy at a worthwhile event while getting to know your fellow Rotarians. Check out our calendar for more information.
May 19th : When Salinas Rotarian David Smith participated on a vocational panel earlier this year, there was a lot of interest in what he does as a compounding pharmacist. David, along with Serena Smith, his daughter, business partner and Pharmacist In Charge, is back to tell us more about how they’ve carved out a successful niche in the competitive pharmacy market by combining the latest medical knowledge and state-of-the-art technology to prepare customized medications to meet each patient’s specific needs.
